Early collaboration in this project between the developer and dry wall manufacturer enabled them to support the architects and acousticians in making further efficiencies in both design and functionality.
This alliance helped achieve more efficient design solutions around complex junctions with the external facade and pod construction methods which in turn reduced risk for the developer in contractor.
Further gains were made by the developer as they were allowed access to new board development that simplified the party wall construction and accounting ceiling treatment which reduced costs, on these elements by a further 20%.
Once the relationship was in place, ongoing backing meant that continued technical support from the developer through the construction phase was available and helped ensure that agreed specifications and details where adhered to by the sub-contractor, reducing risk and helping maintain standards.
